electrician and would like to start your own business and benefit

Trained ElecLocal
franchisees offer a complete 24 hour emergency response, planned
maintenance and new installation service. As part of Local Services
they serve the nationwide needs of the domestic, insurance and
light commercial electrical services market.
Whilst each business develops it's own local
commercial and domestic customer base they also operate together to
form a national planned and reactive contractor.
Training and Support
Franchisees benefit from the

ElecLocal prides itself on its outstanding City and Guilds accredited training programme which has been specifically designed for mature career changers. On completion you will become a fully qualified electrician and 'PART P' registered.
You will learn:- Electrical safety and about tools & equipment
- Electrical theory
- Domestic wiring
- Introduction to circuits and typical applications for lighting circuits
- Radial circuits for sockets and fixed loads
- Ring circuits
- Heating controls
- Telephone, TV, data & satellite
Once you have passed your final exams and received
your qualifications you will accompany one of our team of Tech
Support Franchisees or ‘TSF’s’ for two weeks of
‘hands on’ training with real customers. TSF’s
are our most experienced franchisees however all
ElecLocal franchisees have each been independently
assessed by an NICEIC or ELECSA inspector. During your first two
weeks of trading your TSF will arrange for an inspection of your
work by either the NICEIC or ELECSA.
Once completed you will become a member of a
‘Competent Persons’ scheme required by law in order to
certify certain types of electrical works. After training your
appointed TSF will go on to become your ‘mentor’
offering ongoing support and guidance whenever it’s needed.
They will also carry out a periodic assessment of your work and
skills development.
You will now be equipped with the skills to start an exciting and
rewarding new career with one of the UK’s most successful
franchise operations.
